I started photographing while wandering around the Sierras as a young man with my Nikkormat in tow.  I spent way too much time trying to mimic Adams and Rowell.  Without any inner vision, my interests became extinguished.  And with many moves, all my work became lost to the universe.

My renewed passion paralleled the digital revolution.  And now I shoot what catches my eye instead of trying to recreate the masters.  It is very liberating.  Maybe someday someone will look at my work and find a central theme or technique but for now, I am just trying to have fun, express myself and perfect my techniques.
